A spacious everyday sling for commuters, travellers and creators who want a tablet-based work setup without a full backpack. External dimensions: L 38 cm × W 9 cm × H 19.5 cm.

Equivalent to L 380 mm × W 90 mm × H 195 mm.

NEO Shield fabric with polyester or nylon construction, depending on the colour. The manufacturer does not specify the exact fabric composition for each colour.

The fabric is described as durable and water-resistant. The main closure uses a waterproof YKK zipper. These features do not establish whole-bag immersion protection; use additional protection for sensitive electronics in sustained rain.

Pros

I like the extra depth for a tablet-and-headphones setup that feels cramped in a smaller sling.

I find the dedicated organisation useful for keeping cables, portable storage and pens separate from larger items.

I would choose it for tablet-based commuting, city travel or a carefully selected camera or drone kit.

Cons

I would not choose it as a laptop bag: confirmed device compatibility is an 11-inch iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard, not a laptop.

I would check my camera, lens and insert dimensions before buying; individual kit sizes vary and insert inclusion is not confirmed.

A Mobile Setup Without the Backpack

The NIID NEO Nomad N2 is a tech-focused sling bag for commuters, creators and travellers who need more room than a compact everyday pouch. Its 8L main volume plus 1L of additional bottom storage gives your tablet, daily accessories and selected gear a practical place to travel.

Carry an 11-inch iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard for work at a cafe, organise cables and portable storage for a commute, or build a compact camera or drone setup for a day out.

8L + 1L capacity in a crossbody sling format
Purpose-built storage for an 11-inch iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard
Deep profile for over-ear headphones, books or selected camera gear
Internal organisation for cables, SSDs, pens and daily essentials
Quick-adjust padded shoulder strap
Water-resistant NEO Shield fabric and a waterproof YKK main zipper

Choose your setup: The carry examples show alternative ways to pack the N2, not a promise that every listed item fits together. Camera and drone fit depends on the dimensions of your equipment and any protective insert.

Key Features

NIID NEO Nomad N2 tablet, camera and drone carry examples

Take your tablet-based work setup

Purpose-built tech storage accommodates an 11-inch iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. Keep your tablet and everyday accessories close without bringing a full-size laptop backpack.

The deeper profile also provides room for items that can be awkward in smaller slings, such as a hardcover book or over-ear noise-cancelling headphones.

NIID NEO Nomad N2 open interior organisation

Keep the small things in order

Internal organisation separates charging cables, portable SSDs, pens and small essentials from larger gear. It is a useful layout for a power bank, wallet, keys and the accessories you reach for throughout the day.

For photography, NIID describes a camera-carry setup using a custom camera insert. Its examples include a camera body with an extra lens or a DJI Mini series drone with controller. Insert inclusion is not specified by the manufacturer.

NIID NEO Nomad N2 expandable bottom storage and drawstrings

Add room when your day needs it

The bottom expansion adds approximately 1L to the recommended 8L everyday setup. Use the additional space when your carry grows, rather than packing the main compartment too tightly.

Capacity is described as 8L + 1L for everyday use; the shape and available space depend on how the expansion is packed.

NIID NEO Nomad N2 quick-adjust padded shoulder strap

Adjust the carry, reach your gear

The padded shoulder strap uses a pull-cord quick-adjust system. Tighten the strap to keep the bag closer to your body, then loosen it to bring the sling around to the front for access.

It is a practical feature when moving between a commute, a cafe and short stops around the city.

NIID NEO Nomad N2 NEO Shield fabric and waterproof YKK zipper detail

Weather protection with clear limits

NEO Shield fabric is described as durable and water-resistant, while the main closure uses a waterproof YKK zipper. These details help protect everyday carry from splashes and changing weather.

The bag is not presented here as submersible or fully waterproof. Use additional protection for sensitive electronics in sustained rain.

What Can You Carry?

For tablet-based commuting, start with your 11-inch iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, then add a power bank, cables, portable SSD, wallet and small essentials as space allows.

For a creative day out, NIID lists a camera body and extra lens with a suitable insert, or a DJI Mini series drone and controller. Action cameras, extra batteries and headphones are other carry examples; choose the combination that suits your kit rather than assuming all equipment fits at once.

Yes. NIID specifically lists an 11-inch iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. Compatibility with larger tablets, laptops or bulky third-party cases is not confirmed.
